Steak Strips with Crispy Fries & Fresh Garden Salad

Step 1: Prepare the Fries

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes if desired.
  2. Cut into thin fries.
  3. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain and pat completely dry.
  5. Toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.

Step 2: Cook the Fries

Air Fryer Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange fries in a single layer.
  3. Cook for 18–22 minutes, shaking halfway through.

Step 3: Season the Steak

  1. Place steak strips in a bowl.
  2. Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss well and let marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Cook the Steak

  1. Heat a skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the steak strips.
  3. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and juicy.
  4. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Make the Salad

  1. Combine lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and red onion in a large bowl.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss gently.

Step 6: Assemble the Plate

  1. Arrange the crispy fries on one side.
  2. Add the steak strips beside them.
  3. Serve with a generous portion of fresh garden salad.

Serving Tips

  • Add a garlic butter sauce over the steak for extra flavor.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the fries.
  • Serve with ranch, garlic aioli, or peppercorn sauce.
