No one wants to hear that they or someone they love has cancer.

No one wants to hear that they or someone they love has cancer. That is why claims about a simple homemade recipe that can eliminate cancer cells in only seven days can sound incredibly appealing. However, there is no food, tea, herb, or kitchen recipe proven to eliminate cancer throughout the body in seven days, and replacing medical treatment with an unproven remedy can be dangerous.

Some traditional ingredients, including olive leaves, olives, green tea, garlic, turmeric, ginger, berries, and other plant foods, contain naturally occurring compounds that are being studied for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. These foods can be part of a nutritious diet, but laboratory findings about individual compounds do not mean that eating or drinking them can cure cancer in humans.

A practical wellness drink can still be prepared using ordinary ingredients. For example, you can make a mild herbal infusion by placing a few clean olive leaves in a cup, adding hot water, and allowing the mixture to steep for several minutes before straining it. It can be consumed as a beverage rather than presented as a cancer treatment. People taking prescription medications should be cautious with concentrated herbal preparations because herbs can sometimes interact with medicines.

The most important principle is that nutrition should support medical care rather than replace it. Someone undergoing cancer treatment needs adequate calories, protein, fluids, vitamins, and minerals whenever possible. Foods such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, fish, eggs, yogurt, nuts, and healthy oils can help provide the nutrients needed to maintain strength during treatment.
