My simple bedtime routine to support healthy blood circulation starts with a few gentle habits—not a miracle drink.

Before bed, take a few minutes to relax your legs after the day’s activity. A gentle walk earlier in the evening can help keep you moving, while avoiding long periods of sitting or standing may reduce that heavy-leg feeling. When resting, you can also elevate your legs comfortably for a short period.

The brown seeds shown in the image appear to be ajwain (carom seeds). They are commonly used as a culinary spice and in traditional herbal drinks. To make a simple infusion, add about ½ teaspoon of ajwain seeds to one cup of hot water, cover, and let it steep for 5–10 minutes. Strain before drinking. You can enjoy it unsweetened.

This drink should be viewed as a traditional beverage, not a treatment for poor circulation, varicose veins, blood clots, or other medical conditions. There is no good evidence that an ajwain drink can remove blocked arteries or dramatically improve circulation overnight.

If your legs are repeatedly swollen, painful, unusually cold, numb, or discolored—or if one leg suddenly becomes swollen and painful—seek medical advice rather than relying on a homemade remedy.
