Hibiscus, Clove, and Avocado: A Colorful Drink for a Healthy Lifestyle

Place the water in a small saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil. Add the dried hibiscus flowers and whole cloves, then reduce the heat and simmer for approximately 5 minutes.

Turn off the heat, cover the saucepan, and allow the mixture to steep for another 5–10 minutes. Strain the drink carefully to remove the flowers and cloves.

Allow it to cool slightly before adding a little honey or lemon if desired. It can be enjoyed warm or chilled.

If you want to include avocado, prepare a separate smoothie by blending ¼ ripe avocado with the cooled hibiscus tea. Blend until smooth and drink immediately.

Hibiscus contains naturally occurring plant compounds and has been studied for its possible effects on blood pressure. Cloves contain compounds such as eugenol, while avocado provides monounsaturated fats and dietary fiber. These foods can fit comfortably into a balanced eating pattern.

However, drinking this preparation for 13 days does not guarantee that cancer, diabetes, hypertension, or circulation problems will disappear. These conditions have different causes and require appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

People taking blood-pressure medication should be particularly cautious with concentrated hibiscus preparations because hibiscus may influence blood pressure. People taking regular medication or managing a chronic condition should discuss frequent use of concentrated herbal drinks with a healthcare professional.

For a simple wellness routine, enjoy hibiscus and cloves as a flavorful beverage alongside a balanced diet rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and healthy fats. The goal should be to support overall health through consistent habits rather than relying on a single drink as a cure.
