Easy Air Fryer Donuts

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until a soft dough forms. Avoid overmixing.

Lightly flour your work surface and gently roll or pat the dough to about 1/2 inch thick.

Use a donut cutter or two round cutters to cut out the donuts. Place each donut on a small piece of parchment paper if desired.

Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Lightly grease the air fryer basket and arrange the donuts in a single layer, leaving space between them. Cook for approximately 5–7 minutes, or until puffed and lightly golden. Cooking time can vary depending on your air fryer.

Remove the donuts carefully and brush them with a little melted butter while they’re still warm.

Toss them in granulated sugar, dust with powdered sugar, or add your favorite glaze.

Easy Topping Ideas

For a classic finish, simply coat the warm donuts in sugar.

For something sweeter, mix powdered sugar with a little milk and vanilla to make a quick glaze.

You can also dip them in melted chocolate and sprinkle with chopped nuts, coconut, or colorful sprinkles.

These air fryer donuts are best served warm and fresh. They’re simple enough for a weekend breakfast but delicious enough to make whenever a homemade sweet craving strikes.

Soft, fluffy, golden, and made without deep frying—these easy air fryer donuts are a treat everyone will want to try.
