Clove Tea: 35 Potential Benefits and Uses

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 4–6 whole cloves
  • ½ teaspoon honey, optional
  • A small piece of cinnamon stick, optional
  • A thin slice of fresh ginger, optional

Directions:

  1. Bring the water to a gentle boil.
  2. Add the whole cloves.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 5–10 minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and allow the tea to steep for another 5 minutes.
  5. Strain the cloves from the tea.
  6. Add a little honey if desired.
  7. Serve warm.
