A Warming Garlic, Parsley, Cinnamon & Honey Drink for Aching Joints

Peel the garlic cloves and gently crush them with the side of a knife. Crushing releases their natural compounds.

Step 2: Boil the Water

Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil.

Step 3: Add the Cinnamon and Garlic

Add the cinnamon stick and crushed garlic to the water.

Reduce the heat and simmer gently for approximately 8–10 minutes.

Step 4: Add the Parsley

Turn off the heat and add the fresh parsley. Cover the saucepan and allow the mixture to steep for another 5 minutes.

Step 5: Strain

Strain the drink into a cup, removing the garlic, cinnamon, and parsley.

Step 6: Finish the Drink

Allow it to cool slightly, then add honey and a little lemon juice if desired.

Enjoy it as a warm beverage rather than as a treatment for arthritis or circulation problems.

Important Safety Note

Swollen feet are not always caused by arthritis or “poor circulation.” They can sometimes be associated with problems involving the heart, kidneys, liver, veins, medications, or blood clots.

If swelling is sudden, affects only one leg, is accompanied by significant pain, redness, warmth, chest pain, or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention promptly.

And if you take blood thinners or other medications, be cautious with concentrated garlic or herbal preparations and discuss them with your healthcare professional.

A warming herbal drink can complement a healthy lifestyle, but it should not replace medical treatment for persistent joint pain or unexplained swelling.
