Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

For the Pasta

  • 250 g (9 oz) fettuccine or spaghetti
  • Water for boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the Steak

  • 2 steak cuts (ribeye, sirloin, or strip steak)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Creamy Parmesan Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)

For Garnish

  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra parmesan cheese
