Vienna Spaghetti recipe

Ingredients for the sauce:

1/4 cup olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
4 grated tomatoes
1/3 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons tomato paste
3 teaspoons tomato sauce
1 teaspoon sugar

Method:

In a big saucepan, warm the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the diced onions and sauté for 6-8 minutes, or until the onions are tender.
Add the salt, chopped parsley, and shredded tomatoes.
Simmer the sauce on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes, or until it cooks down.
Add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, and sugar to the sauce. Continue to simmer for a few extra minutes.

Spaghetti Recipe:

Ingredients:

1/2 pound thin spaghetti
8 Vienna sausages, cut into even pieces

Directions:

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

Thread each Vienna sausage piece through a strand of spaghetti.
Cook the spaghetti with the Vienna sausages in the boiling water for about 6 minutes or until the spaghetti is al dente.
Drain the spaghetti and Vienna sausages.
Add the cooked spaghetti and Vienna sausages to the sauce.
Toss to evenly distribute the sauce over the noodles.
