Tortilla Wraps with Ground Beef

Step 1: Cook the Beef

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft.

Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Step 2: Brown the Meat

Add the ground beef to the skillet.

Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned.

Step 3: Season the Filling

Add:

  • paprika
  • cumin
  • chili powder
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • tomato paste

Stir well and cook for another 2–3 minutes.

Step 4: Warm the Tortillas

Heat tortillas in a pan or microwave for 10–15 seconds to make them soft and flexible.

Step 5: Assemble the Wraps

Place a tortilla on a flat surface.

Add:

  1. a layer of ground beef
  2. shredded cheese
  3. lettuce
  4. diced tomatoes
  5. sour cream or salsa

Step 6: Fold the Wrap

Fold the bottom of the tortilla up, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.

Step 7: Optional Toasting

For extra flavor, place the wrap seam-side down in a skillet.

Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until the tortilla becomes golden and crispy.

Step 8: Serve

Cut the wraps in half and serve warm.
