Sweet & Savory Pineapple Beef Bites

Step 1: Marinate the Beef

  1. Place the beef cubes in a bowl.
  2. Add soy sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch.
  3. Mix well and let it marinate for 10–15 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl mix:

  • Soy sauce
  • Honey or brown sugar
  • Oyster sauce
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Water

Set aside.

Step 3: Sear the Beef

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over high heat.
  2. Add the beef pieces in a single layer.
  3. Cook for 3–4 minutes until browned.

Remove the beef and set aside.

Step 4: Cook the Pineapple

In the same pan add the pineapple chunks.

Cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly caramelized.

Step 5: Combine Everything

Return the beef to the pan.

Pour in the prepared sauce.

Step 6: Simmer

Cook everything together for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and pineapple.

Step 7: Finish and Garnish

Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with:

  • Green onions
  • Parsley
  • Sesame seeds
