Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast.
Pour in the warm milk and mix until the ingredients are well combined.
Add the softened butter, salt, and eggs to the bowl. Mix all ingredients together until a soft dough forms.
After transferring the dough to a surface dusted with flour, knead it for approximately ten minutes, or until it becomes elastic and smooth.
Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 to 2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
Punch down the dough carefully to release the air after it has risen.
. Divide the dough into equal portions, shaping each portion into a triangle or crescent shape.
Place the shaped croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each croissant. For an additional thirty minutes, cover them with a kitchen towel and let them to rise.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
After taking the croissants out of the oven, place them on a wire rack to cool.
