Ingredients:
Sauce:
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp garlic chili sauce (optional)
Other Ingredients:
Bell peppers and onions, sliced
Oil for sautéing
Refrigerated chow mein noodles
Shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, and olive oil for shrimp seasoning
NY strip steak
Cracked sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, garlic powder, chili powder for steak seasoning
Oil for cooking steak
Garlic herb butter
Soft boiled egg (optional)
Butter for drizzling
Salt, pepper, garlic, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and herbs for butter seasoning
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, cornstarch, brown sugar, and garlic chili sauce (if using). Set aside.
Sauté bell peppers and onions in oil over medium heat until soft and slightly charred.
Cook refrigerated chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a separate bowl, season the shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, and olive oil. Cook the shrimp in a pan over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side until they form a nice C shape. Set aside.
Season the NY strip steak with cracked sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder. Cook the steak in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat for approximately 3 minutes per side to sear. Reduce heat to medium and add garlic herb butter to the skillet. Baste the steak with the melted butter using a spoon and cook to preferred doneness. Check the interior temperature with a meat thermometer.

Optional:
Prepare a soft-boiled egg.
Melt butter in a different pot over a low heat.
Add salt, pepper, garlic, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and herbs. Stir to combine and drizzle over the cooked steak and noodles.
Toss the cooked noodles with the prepared sauce over medium heat until the sauce thickens. Add the sautéed bell peppers and onions to the noodles.
Serve the steak, shrimp, and noodles together. Optionally, garnish with a soft-boiled egg.
