Soft Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

5 medium-sized eggs
Pinch of salt
1 packet of vanilla
1 cup granulated sugar
1 glass of sunflower oil
1 cup of yogurt
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). You may either butter and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add a pinch of salt. Beat the eggs using an electric mixer on medium speed until they become frothy.
Add the packet of vanilla and granulated sugar to the beaten eggs. Continue beating until the mixture becomes creamy and well combined.
Slowly pour in the sunflower oil while continuing to beat the mixture.
Add the yogurt to the mixture and beat until everything is well incorporated.
Mix the baking powder, cocoa powder, and all-purpose flour in an other bowl.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, beating on low speed until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
When a toothpick placed into the center of the cake comes out clean, bake for around 30 to 35 minutes in a preheated oven.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, After that, move the cake to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Once the cake has cooled, you can frost it with your favorite frosting or dust it with powdered sugar for a simple finish.
