Ingredients:
4 steak cubes
1/2 cup water
1 can (10.5 ounces) French Onion Soup
1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of chicken soup
1 packet mixed broth
Directions:
In a 6-quart slow cooker, combine the French Onion Soup, cream of chicken soup, mixed broth packet, and water. Mix well.
Place the steak cubes into the sauce mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Cover the slow cooker and cook the steaks on low heat for 6-8 hours.
Toward the end of the cooking time, if you desire a thicker sauce, prepare to thicken it. In a small bowl, whisk together equal parts cornstarch and cold water (approximately 2-3 tablespoons each).Stir the cornstarch and water mixture into the slow cooker. Increase the setting to high and continue cooking for an additional 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
