Simple Baked Beef and Pasta Casserole

Ingredients:

1 package penne pasta
Water, as needed
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 tablespoon canola oil
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 ounces cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or chili powder)
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

Follow the instructions on the package to cook the penne pasta. After cooking the pasta, drain and set it aside.

In a skillet, heat the canola oil over medium heat. When the ground beef is all cooked, add it and cook it.
Drain off any excess fat.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
Reduce the heat on the stove and mix in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper or chili powder, cream cheese, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the cooked ground beef.
Mix the cooked spaghetti with the combination of meat.
Pour the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Over the dish, scatter the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake the casserole for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted, in a preheated oven.
Remove from the oven and serve the Simple Baked Beef and Pasta Casserole while it’s hot.
