Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups shredded provolone cheese
1 lb pasta (penne or rigatoni)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it’s al dente. After draining, set away.
In a large pan, warm the olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and bell pepper, cooking until soft for about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for one more minute once it becomes fragrant.
While cooking, break up the ground meat and add it to the pan. Cook until browned.. Drain any excess fat.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in cream cheese until melted and combined.
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring until the mixture is smooth and heated through.
Add shredded provolone cheese, stirring until melted and well mixed.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet to ensure that it is uniformly covered in sauce.
