Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients:

4 cups sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
2 sticks butter
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons marshmallow cream

Directions:

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and milk.
Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it reaches 242 degrees Fahrenheit (soft ball stage) using a candy thermometer.
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Stir in the vanilla, peanut butter, and marshmallow cream, mixing everything well.
Spread the mixture into a greased or parchment-lined 9×13-inch pan (or a round pie pan as per your choice).
Let the fudge cool, then cut it into squares.
Note: Be careful not to overcook the fudge as it may become crumbly.
