Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

Two cups of fresh peach slices (or one 29-ounce can of drained sliced peaches)
1 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
One cup of sugar, divided into 3/4 and 1/4 cups

Instructions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pour the melted butter into a 9×9-inch baking dish or similar-sized pan, ensuring it evenly coats the bottom.

Prepare the peaches by peeling and slicing them if they are fresh. Combine the peaches with 1/4 cup sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir well to coat.

Make Batter: In a separate bowl, mix the Bisquick, milk, and the remaining 3/4 cup of sugar until smooth.

Assemble Cobbler:

Cover the baking dish’s melted butter with the batter. Keep still.
Spoon the peach mixture onto the batter evenly. Once more, avoid mixing since the batter will rise during baking..
Bake: Put the cobbler in the oven that has been warmed and bake it for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and golden brown.

Before serving, allow the cobbler to cool a little. Warm up and enjoy by itself or with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.
