1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Maple syrup
Fresh fruits (e.g., berries, bananas)
Whipped cream
Chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts, pecans)
Chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Combine Wet Ingredients:
Beat the egg, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and other ingredients together in a separate dish until smooth.
Combine Mixtures:
Stirring gently until just incorporated, pour the wet components into the dry ingredients. Don’t overmix; a few lumps are acceptable.
Heat the Pan:
Preheat a nonstick pan or griddle to medium heat.
. Lightly grease the pan with cooking spray or a little butter if needed.
Cook the Pancakes:
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet for each pancake.
Simmer for two to three minutes, or until bubbles appear on the top and the edges seem firm. After flipping, heat for a further one to two minutes, or until golden brown.
Keep Warm:
Transfer cooked pancakes to a plate and cover them with a kitchen towel to keep warm while you cook the remaining batter.
Serve:
Warm pancakes can be served with your preferred toppings, such almonds, whipped cream, fresh fruit, or maple syrup.
Enjoy your delicious pancakes!
