Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon white sugar
¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1 ¼ cups milk
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg
Instructions:
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until smooth and well-combined.
Heat a skillet or griddle that has been lightly greased over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look dry, which usually takes about 2 to 3 minutes.
Flip the pancake and cook until the other side is nicely browned.
Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
Serve the old-fashioned pancakes warm and enjoy!
Note: You can customize these pancakes by adding your favorite toppings, such as fresh fruits, syrup, or whipped cream.
