Ingredients:
1 unbaked pie shell
3 large eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 and 2/3 cups milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius, which is equivalent to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium-sized bowl, lightly beat the eggs using a hand mixer or whisk.
Add the sugar, salt, nutmeg, milk, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are combined. The mixture will be somewhat thin.
Carefully pour the custard mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool completely to room temperature.
Once cooled, sprinkle the top of the pie with nutmeg for added flavor.
Slice and serve the nutmeg custard pie. Enjoy!
