No-Bake Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake Recipe

Servings: 8-10 slices

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 package (3 oz) orange Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
Two packets (8 oz each) of softened cream cheese

1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Zest of one orange for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper or lightly spray it with nonstick cooking spray.

Melted butter and vanilla wafer crumbs should be combined in a medium-sized basin. To produce the crust, press the ingredients firmly into the bottom of the pan.
Chill in the refrigerator.
Dissolve the orange Jell-O in boiling water, stirring well until completely dissolved. Allow to come down to room temperature.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
Slowly blend in the cooled Jell-O until thoroughly mixed.
Pour the cream cheese and Jell-O mixture over the crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight to set completely.
Before serving, garnish with orange zest sprinkled over the top for added color and flavor.
