My Mom’s Fudge Recipe

Ingredients:

3/4 cup unsalted butter
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
7 oz. marshmallow fluff
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Place the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and evaporated milk into a saucepan over high heat on the stove.
Bring the mixture to a boil, whisking often to combine the ingredients.
Once the mixture is boiling, reduce the heat to medium and let it boil for five minutes, continuing to whisk occasionally.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until they are fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
Add the marshmallow fluff and vanilla extract to the saucepan and continue whisking until everything is well combined.
Line a 9×9 inch baking dish with aluminum foil and spray it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Evenly distribute the fudge mixture in the baking dish after pouring it in.
Place the dish in the refrigerator and let the fudge sit for several hours to cool and set.
Once the fudge is firm, remove it from the baking dish by lifting the foil, and transfer it to a cutting board.
Slice the fudge into squares or desired shapes and serve.
Enjoy this delicious and creamy homemade fudge! The combination of butter, sugar, chocolate, and marshmallow creates a rich and indulgent treat. Letting the fudge chill in the refrigerator allows it to set properly, resulting in a smooth texture. Share and savor this delightful fudge with your loved ones.
