One packet of two chilled pie crusts (16 oz)
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Prepare Pie Crust: Roll out the pie crusts and place them in the bottom of the greased baking pan, pressing gently to cover the entire bottom.
Make Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Add the pecan halves and stir until covered evenly.
Pour Filling: Pour the pecan mixture over the pie crust in the pan, spreading it out evenly.
Bake: Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set. Allow it to cool fully before slicing it into bars.
