Ingredients
For the Crust:
1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
8 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg
For the Gooey Layer:
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
2 eggs (beaten)
16 oz powdered sugar
Preparation
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
To make the crust, put the egg, melted butter, and dry cake mix in a medium-sized basin. Blend until well mixed and smooth. Evenly press the dough into the bottom of the baking pan that has been ready.
To prepare the gooey layer, whip the cream cheese until smooth in a large separate dish. Beat the eggs for a few minutes after adding them.
Add the powdered sugar little by little and beat until completely blended.
To assemble, cover the prepared crust with an even coating of the gooey layer.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until done. Do not overbake.
Cool: Before slicing the bars into squares, allow them to cool fully in the pan. Have fun!
