Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon freshly minced garlic
3 cups water
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
16 ounces spaghetti noodles
Instructions:
Set your Air Pot to Saute mode.
Once heated, add the olive oil and chopped onion. Simmer the onions until they start to get tender.
Add the ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the Air Pot. Cook the meat until it is well done and browned.
Remove the meat from the Air Pot and add water to deglaze the bottom, scraping it well to avoid a Burn warning.
Split the spaghetti noodles in half and arrange them in the Air Pot in a crosshatch design.
Pour the spaghetti sauce over the noodles.
If desired, add the can of diced tomatoes on top of the sauce.
Pour the water on the sides and top of the tomatoes, ensuring that the spaghetti is covered with water.
Gently push down on the spaghetti to make sure it’s submerged in the liquid.
Place the lid on the Air Pot, turn the valve to sealing, and select the Pressure Cook setting.
Set the cooking time for 5 minutes.
Once the cooking time is up, allow for a natural release of pressure for 5 minutes.
Perform a quick release until the pin drops.
Once the lid is open, thoroughly mix the spaghetti, sauce, and tomatoes to ensure they are well combined.
Serve the homemade spaghetti with a dinner salad and garlic cheese toast, if desired.
Note: This recipe uses an Air Pot to make quick and easy homemade spaghetti. The pressure cooking method ensures that the flavors are well-infused, and the result is a delicious and satisfying meal.
