Ingredients:
One pound of big, deveined and peeled shrimp
12 ounces of fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 shallot, finely chopped
1 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook pasta al dente according to the fettuccine package’s instructions.
Drain the pasta and set it aside.
Heat the olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat.
. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallot, sautéing them until fragrant.
When the shrimp are pink and opaque, add them to the skillet and simmer.
Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, allowing the cheese to melt and the mixture to become creamy.
Combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle some additional Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake the dish for about 20 minutes until it becomes bubbly and golden.
Garnish the Garlic Shrimp Pasta Bake with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
