French Onion Beef and Noodles Recipe

 

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound beef stew meat
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 can (10.5 ounces) French onion soup
3 cups beef broth
12 ounces egg noodles
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup French fried onions

Instructions:

In a big saucepan, warm up the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add beef stew meat to the pot and season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until the beef is seared on all sides.
Add the beef broth and French onion soup . Bring the mixture to a simmer, then let the beef cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Add the egg noodles to the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender.
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the sour cream and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
Sprinkle French fried onions over the dish before serving.
