Elegant Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Cake

Ingredients:

For the Chocolate Cake:

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

For the Peanut Butter Cheesecake Layer:

16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs

For the Chocolate Ganache:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup heavy cream

For the Peanut Butter Frosting:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups powdered sugar
¼ cup heavy cream (adjust to desired consistency)

For the Garnish (optional):

Mini Reese’s peanut butter cups
Chocolate shavings

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 8-inch round cake pans.
Prepare the Chocolate Cake by mixing dry and wet ingredients separately, then combining and adding boiling water. Pour batter into each pan, then bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

For the Peanut Butter Cheesecake Layer, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
Once cooled, assemble the cake by layering the cakes with the peanut butter cheesecake filling.
Make the Chocolate Ganache by melting chocolate chips with hot cream and pouring it over the cake.
Optionally, make Peanut Butter Frosting by creaming butter, peanut butter, and gradually adding powdered sugar and cream for desired consistency.
Before serving, let the cake cool for at least two hours.. Garnish with mini Reese’s cups and chocolate shavings if desired.
