DOUGHNUTS


INGREDIENTS :

• 3 cups of flour
• 2 tablespoons of butter
• 7 grams of baker’s yeast
• 5 tablespoons of sugar
• 1 cup of milk
• 1 egg
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt

PREPARATION :

Oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C and coat doughnut pans with non-stick spray. For a doughnut maker, preheat it for 5 minutes before baking.
In a large bowl, combine cake flour, white sugar, baking powder, and salt. Use a whisk to blend the dry ingredients.
Integrate milk, melted butter, vanilla essence, and the egg into the dry mixture, whisking until a thick and smooth batter forms.
Fill doughnut pans or the doughnut maker with the batter. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or in the doughnut maker for 3 minutes until golden brown.
Allow the doughnuts to cool before decorating.
For the Cinnamon-Sugar coating: Mix ½ cup of white sugar with ½ tsp ground cinnamon. Dip the doughnuts in melted 50g butter, then coat them with the Cinnamon-Sugar mixture. Let them dry before serving.
