Delicious and Creamy Flake Ice Cream

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
4 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Crushed flake chocolate bars (optional, for mixing into the ice cream)

Instructions:

In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and whole milk until simmering. Remove from heat.
Whisk the egg yolks and granulated sugar together well in a another basin.
Gradually add about 1/2 cup of the hot cream mixture to the egg yolks, whisking continuously.
Return the tempered egg mixture to the saucepan and cook, stirring frequently, over medium heat until the mixture thickens and coats the spoon’s back.
After taking off the heat, whisk in the vanilla essence. Allow the blend to reach room temperature.
Cover the mixture with plastic wrap, ensuring it touches the surface, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Once refrigerated, transfer the base for the ice cream to an ice cream machine and churn until it reaches a soft-serve consistency, following the manufacturer’s directions.
Optional: Mix in crushed flake chocolate bars or other desired mix-ins during the last few minutes of churning.
When the ice cream has thickened, transfer it to a container with a cover and freeze it for at least four hours.
Serve the delicious and creamy flake ice cream in bowls or cones and enjoy!
Note: You can adjust the sweetness and experiment with different mix-ins to personalize your ice cream. Have fun and enjoy the homemade creamy goodness!
