Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 cans (14.5 oz each) tomato sauce
2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes
2 cups beef broth
1 box dry uncooked macaroni
1 cup frozen peas
Instructions:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is browned.
Add the diced onions, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
Transfer the meat and vegetable mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker.
Add the diced bell pepper, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth to the slow cooker. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
For 3.5 hours, cook on high with the slow cooker covered.
About 1 hour before serving, cook the macaroni according to the instructions on the box.
Stir in the cooked macaroni and frozen peas into the slow cooker. Mix well.
Cover the slow cooker again and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
