Cookies & Cream Cheesecake Deep-Fried Oreos 

Ingredients:

For the Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup crushed Oreos
For the Coating and Frying:

1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1 cup milk
Vegetable oil, for frying
12 Oreo cookies
For Garnish:

Powdered sugar, for dusting
Additional crushed Oreos, for sprinkling
Directions:

Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth in a medium-sized bowl.
. Add in the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined. Gently fold in the crushed Oreos.

Assemble the Oreos:
Take a spoon or a small ice cream scoop, and place a small amount of cheesecake filling on top of each Oreo cookie. Carefully press another Oreo on top to form a sandwich. Proceed in the same manner with the remaining Oreos.

Prepare the Coating:
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Beat the egg and milk together thoroughly in a separate dish.

Coat the Oreos:
To ensure they are completely covered, dip each Oreo sandwich into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and then back into the flour mixture.

Fry the Oreos:
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C), ensuring there is enough oil to completely submerge the Oreos. Carefully add the coated Oreos to the hot oil in small batches, frying for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried Oreos and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Garnish and Serve:
Dust the warm deep-fried Oreos with powdered sugar and, if desired, sprinkle with additional crushed Oreos before serving.
