Ingredients (Servings 12):
2 cans Buttermilk Biscuits
1 tablespoon White Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/3 cup Skim Milk
2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
5 Large Eggs
Glaze:
1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1/3 cup Powdered Sugar
1 tablespoon Skim Milk
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F . Prepare a baking pan by coating it with nonstick baking spray.
Cut each buttermilk biscuit into fourths and set them aside.
In a bowl, whisk together the white sugar and cinnamon .Spoon this mixture into a plastic bag.
Place the cut biscuit pieces into the ziplock bag and shake them to coat them evenly with the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Place the coated cookie pieces in the baking dish that has been ready.
In another bowl, whisk together the skim milk, vanilla extract, and eggs.
Pour the milk and egg mixture over the quartered biscuits in the baking dish.
Bake the dish at 350 degrees F for about 35 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the glaze by combining the vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and skim milk in a separate bowl.
Beat the ingredients together with an electric mixer until they are smooth.
Once the French toast is baked, remove it from the oven and pour the glaze over the top before serving.
