Ingredients (12 Servings):
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Ingredients for the Swirl:
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
To the dry ingredients, add the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla essence.. Mix with an electric mixer for 3 minutes until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and use an offset spatula to smooth the top.
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the swirl.
Sprinkle the cinnamon swirl mixture on top of the batter in the loaf pan.
Use a knife to create a marbled effect by cutting through the batter in a light swirling motion.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes.
Before slicing, move the bread to a wire rack to cool fully.
