Chocolate Cotton Cake

Ingredients:

80ml milk
60ml vegetable oil
70g flour
10g cocoa powder
4 egg whites
4 egg yolks
70g sugar
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Chocolate chips

Preparation:

In a bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, flour, and egg yolks. Divide the mixture into two portions. Add cocoa powder to the second portion and mix well.
In another bowl, beat the egg whites with salt, lemon juice, and sugar until stiff peaks form.
Divide the beaten egg whites into two portions.
Transfer the batter to a baking sheet. Add the dark cocoa mixture first, followed by the white mixture on top. Swirl the batters gently with a spoon or spatula to create a marbled effect. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
Bake the cake in a water bath at 170°C (340°F) for approximately 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
