Chinese Pepper Steak Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup beef broth
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Cooked rice (for serving)

Directions:

Mix the cornstarch, sugar, ground black pepper, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and beef broth in a small bowl. Stir well and reserve.
In a big skillet or wok, heat up one tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until browned. After taking the steak out of the griddle, set it aside.
Add the final tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same skillet. Add the onion, minced garlic, and cut red and green bell peppers. Stir-fry the veggies for 3–4 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender.

Place the meat back in the skillet and cover the veggies and steak with the sauce mixture.. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the steak is heated through.
Serve hot over cooked rice with chopped green onions as a garnish.

Enjoy this flavorful Chinese Pepper Steak dish! The tender slices of beef, colorful bell peppers, and savory sauce come together to create a delicious stir-fry. Serve it with steaming rice for a filling and hearty supper.
