CHICKEN PATTIES IN THE OVEN

Ingredients

Mass:
100 grams of butter
8 grams of salt
60 grams of white sugar
125 ml of water
400 grams of prepared flour
Filling:
250 grams of chicken breast
1 onion
1 teaspoon of garlic
50 grams of special chili pepper or ground panca chili pepper
Vegetable oil
chicken broth
1/2 yellow chili pepper
2 boiled eggs
salt
cumin
2 egg yolks

Preparation

1. The first thing we will do will be in a bowl or container we will mix the sugar, salt and water. We book
2. Then with the help of our clean hands, in a bowl we will start to crush the butter and add the flour a few previously sifted and continue mixing everything with our hands.
3. Then we will add the reserved water a few at a time and continue mixing until we get a dough that no longer sticks to our fingers.
4. Then we are going to wrap the dough in a plastic bag and take it to refrigerate to rest for about 30 to 40 minutes approximately.
5. Then in a pot over medium heat we will pour a few drops of oil, let it warm up and add the garlic, the previously cooked and shredded chicken, we also add salt, pepper, cumin and with the help of a ladle we are mixing everything.
6. Since we have everything mixed we add small chopped yellow chili pepper, without veins, or pepas. Now we will add the special chili pepper, the onion cut into small squares fry for a few minutes and add just a little broth
7. Cover and let cook for about 15 minutes. Since it is ready we try to rectify seasoning and turn off the kitchen

11. Since we have the dough ready, we are going to put them in a row and place a piece of egg in each one and a little of the stew we made on top.
12. Then we will close them forming the patty by pressing on the ends so that nothing can come out.
13. We repeat this process with all the empanadas.
14. Finally we put them in a row on a previously greased tray and paint them on top with the beaten egg yolk.
15. Put them in the oven at 180 C for about 40 minutes.
16. After the time has passed, remove the tray very carefully and that’s it. You can enjoy them now.
