Chicken Bread Rolls

Ingredients:

One 8-oz can of crescent dinner rolls that are cooled

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your preferred variety)
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup of chopped red, green, or yellow bell peppers
1/4 cup diced onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: additional seasonings like paprika, chili powder, or cayenne pepper for extra flavor

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

To avoid sticking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or give it a little oil.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, shredded cheese, cream cheese, diced bell peppers, diced onion, garlic powder, dried parsley, and any optional seasonings you prefer. Mix well until combined.

After unrolling the crescent dough onto a sanitized surface, cut it into triangles by cutting along the scored lines.

At the broad end of each crescent triangle, place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture.

To enclose the filling, roll up the crescent dough, starting at the broad end and tucking in the edges as you roll.

Leaving some space between each roll, arrange the filled crescent rolls on the baking sheet that has been prepared.

Optional: For added taste, brush the tops of the crescent rolls with melted butter and top with more shredded cheese or herbs.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the crescent rolls turn golden brown and are cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
