Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
One can (10.5 oz) of cream of mushroom soup, condensed
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 bag (20 oz) frozen French fries
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and save a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
The ground beef should be cooked for five to seven minutes over medium heat in a large pan until it is browned and well done. Remove any extra fat.
Combine the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic in a pan. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, or until the onion is transparent and the garlic is aromatic.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, condensed cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper. Blend until well blended.
After taking the pan off of the burner, add one cup of shredded cheddar cheese and mix.
Spread the beef mixture equally in the baking dish that has been prepared.
Place the frozen French fries in a single layer above the meat mixture.
Fries should be baked for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until crispy and golden brown.
After taking the casserole out of the oven, top it with the remaining cup of cheddar cheese that has been shredded. Put it back in the oven for five more minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
