Caramel Cream Cheese Bread

 

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
One container (8 ounces) of room-temperature cream cheese
4 eggs, room temperature
1/2 cup caramel topping
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make Caramel Cream Cheese Bread

Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and lightly grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans with butter or non-stick spray.
In a large bowl or mixer, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until combined.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just incorporated.
Pour ¼ of the batter into each greased loaf pan.
Spoon ¼ cup of caramel topping on top of the batter in each pan and swirl it gently, making sure to keep it away from the edges of the pan.
Carefully add the remaining batter on top of the caramel layers in each pan.
When a toothpick put into the center comes out clean, bake the pans in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes.

Remove the pans from the oven and let the cakes cool before serving.
