12 cabbage leaves
1 cup cooked white rice
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup minced onion
1 pound extra-lean ground beef
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Heat up a big saucepan of water until it boils.. Immerse the cabbage leaves in the boiling water for about 2 minutes or until they soften. Drain the leaves.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, beaten egg, milk, minced onion, ground beef, salt, and black pepper.
Around 1/4 cup of the beef mixture should be placed in the middle of each cabbage leaf.
Roll up the leaves, tucking in the ends to enclose the filling. The cabbage rolls should be placed in a baking dish seam side down.
In a small bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this sauce over the cabbage rolls.
Cover the baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour, or until the cabbage rolls are cooked through.
Serve the cabbage rolls hot and enjoy!
These cabbage rolls make a hearty and satisfying meal.
