Butter Swim Biscuits

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups buttermilk
1 stick butter
4 tsp baking powder
4 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius).
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Add the buttermilk to the dry ingredients and mix until a moist dough is formed.
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
Transfer the melted butter into a baking dish that measures 8 by 8 or 9 by 9. Make sure the dish is not too tiny or shallow so that the butter does not leak out while baking. Place the dough on top of the melted butter in the baking dish and use a spatula to spread it evenly, ensuring it touches the sides of the dish.
Cut the unbaked dough into 9 even squares, allowing them to be immersed in the melted butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits turn golden brown on top.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool slightly.
Serve the Butter Swim Biscuits for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They make a great accompaniment to any meal. Enjoy them with raspberry jam or any other topping of your choice.
These biscuits are buttery, tender, and delicious. They are easy to make and will surely be a hit at the table.
