Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

Ingredients:

1 pound sausage
Pioneer Brand Peppered Sausage Gravy Mix, one box
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spatula, until it is browned and cooked through.
Whisk the gravy mix and one cup of water together until smooth in a medium-sized bowl..
Add the gravy to the skillet with the cooked sausage and stir to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until the gravy thickens.
Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it is melted and well combined.
Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper in a another bowl.
Spread the sausage gravy mixture evenly into the greased baking dish.
Pour the egg mixture over the top of the sausage gravy layer.
Top the dish with the biscuits.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the eggs are set and the biscuits are golden brown.
Serve the Biscuits and Gravy Casserole warm and enjoy!
