Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
4 ripe bananas, crushed
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
Add the beaten eggs and crushed bananas to the creamed mixture. Mix well.
Sift the baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour in a separate basin.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, stirring until well combined.
Stir in the vanilla extract and nuts.
Fill the loaf pan with batter once it has been dusted and oiled.
Bake for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, in a preheated oven.
If making mini loaves, bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes.
After that, move it to a wire rack to finish cooling.
