Beer-Battered Onion jewelry with Dipping Sauce

 

INGREDIENTS:

LIME MAYO SAUCE:

1/3 cup mayo
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/four teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon floor cayenne pepper
1 small clove garlic finely minced
1 tablespoon lime juice
ONION rings:
2 massive sweet onions rough skins eliminated, cut into 1/2 inch rings and seperated
1 1/four cup all cause flour
1/four teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon cumin
half of teaspoon sparkling floor black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 egg beaten
1–1 half of cups beer
Vegetable oil for frying

instructions:

In small bowl integrate mayo, ketchup, 1/four teaspoon black pepper, 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, garlic and lime juice.
Set 1/four cup of flour aside on a shallow plate. In medium bowl integrate 1 cup flour, 1/four teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, cumin, half of teaspoon black pepper, garlic powder, crushed egg and 1 cup to one half cups beer depending on how thick you want the batter.
warmth oil to 375 stages. Dip onion rings in flour on shallow plate after which into batter. Fry battered onion earrings in the hot oil till browned, about 4 mins. region on paper towels whilst operating in small batches. Serve hot with Lime Mayo Sauce
