Maid-Rite Sliders

Ingredients:

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 small white onion, minced
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
12 slider buns
1/3 cup dill pickle slices
6 slices American cheese
For the Butter Sauce:
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cooking the Beef Mixture:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and minced onion until browned. Break the meat apart well as it cooks.
Drain excess grease, if necessary. Add the bouillon cube, water, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. After bringing to a boil, simmer until the liquid is gone.

Assembling the Sliders:
Slider bun bottom halves should be placed in a baking dish.
Top with the beef mixture, pickles, cheese slices, and the top halves of the buns.
Preparing the Butter Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush this mixture over the buns.
Baking and Serving:
Bake the baking dish for 25 minutes with the foil covering it.
