Marinated Beef Steak

Ingredients:

1 hanger steak

For the Marinade:

2 large cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon stone ground Dijon mustard
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions:

Prepare the marinade by combining minced garlic, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, black pepper, brown sugar, Italian seasoning, and kosher salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Place the hanger steak in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag .Make sure the meat is well coated with marinade by pouring it over it.
. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, flipping the steak occasionally for even marination.
Set a skillet over medium-high heat on the stovetop or preheat your grill to that temperature.
Take the steak out of the marinade, being sure to throw away any extra marinade. Put the meat in the hot skillet or on the grill.

Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired doneness.
After the steak is done to your preference, take it from the grill or pan and give it some time to rest before slicing. This makes it easier for fluids to be distributed throughout the meat.
After cutting the steak against its grain, serve it.
Optional: You can use the leftover marinade to make a sauce. Simmer the marinade in a saucepan until slightly reduced and thickened, then drizzle it over the sliced steak before serving.
Enjoy your delicious marinated beef steak! Serve it with your preferred side dishes, such as a crisp salad, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
