Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup eggnog
2 tablespoons rum flavor extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit . Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan from bottom to top.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs. Add the sugar, melted butter, eggnog, rum flavor extract, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Stir to blend the dry ingredients.
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the eggnog mixture, stirring just enough to blend everything together. Avoid overmixing.
Pour the batter into the loaf pan once it’s ready.
When a toothpick put into the center comes out clean, bake for 40 to 60 minutes.
After letting the bread cool in the pan for ten to fifteen minutes, move it to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Once cooled, you can wrap the bread in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator.
Enjoy!
